I was born on November 10, 1948 in
the Canal Zone, Panama. My Navy family was soon transferred to New London,
Connecticut. My formative years were centered in
Niantic, Connecticut. I received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors
in Interior Design from the University of Connecticut in 1971. I chose
Boston, Massachusetts in 1972 as a home base to develop my career as a
creative person and my first collage was created in 1975. My work includes
fine art, garden design, floral design, lecturing, interior
design and display, and has taken me across the United States and to Europe. I
have settled in Glastonbury, Connecticut, where home, garden, studio and
family make for an enriching experience. Over the last thirty years
my work has been exhibited in the United States and Europe and
is included in a number of private collections. In
2004, the Town and County Club of Hartford, Connecticut, presented a one
person show of my collages and limited edition giclee prints. |
